Nikon D600 with Nikon 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 AFS G ED VR at Straits Quay morning

It has been a while since my last self outing with my camera. I was busy preparing for the group event due to the nature that I have changed my work horse camera. I am now officially into the 35mm Full Frame sensor with my new D600. I had to re-learn most of my compositions as well as some of the features that this camera offer compared to my old D7000.

Generally I am very satisfied with this camera as it has exceeds everything that D7000 has except for the AF focus area size and the weight. The AF area are very small  compared to the D7000 viewfinder, the weight although it is marginally small difference, but in long hours job it definitely will hurt my arm.

The D600 body size is perfect as all the while I am using a FX lens on D7000 which is smaller and does not balanced with the FX lens. A battery grip would compliment the D600 if I am using my bigger lens and that would be my wish list. I definitely think that my D600 will last quite a long time with me, because I could not afford a higher body with higher megapixel as my laptop will lag most of the time while editing the NEF files from Nikon D600.

Here are some of the photos I took this morning with my new Nikon D600.
